About Us

Forget Me Not Musicians

We are a registered charity, charity number 1182454.   We were set-up by a diverse group of people each of whom who had seen first hand the benefits of delivering high quality, tailored music to groups of residents in Care homes.

The Chair of Trustees is Chris Noble, Charitable Steward of the local Freemasons,  helping & supporting Hertfordshire Freemasons with their Charitable Aims
Barry Keech is chair of the local magistrates and has been an enthusiastic support who was pleased to be invited to become a trustee.
Our CEO is David Clement-Horton, a professional musician, who has spent many afternoons playing to residents in various Care Homes and has seen first hand how they respond to music.
Janet Crawley is our fundraising manager, she has worked for a number of years as an Activity Coordinator in Care Homes, tirelessly striving to improve the quality of life for dementia patients in those homes and has witnessed the improvements targeted music has on their lives.

Our purpose is to provide additional high quality entertainment to  Care Home residents at no cost to the Care Homes themselves by engaging, and paying for, suitable, talented artists to perform periodically at the Care Homes.  We work with Care Homes in both the Private and Public Sector and match their needs with the artists that have signed up to support the Charity.

We arrange auditioned artists and tribute acts, featuring music that residents would have once known and loved, such as Frank Sinatra, the Everly Brothers, Vera Lynn, the Andrews Sisters, etc., to perform short sessions.  These sessions are usually no longer than 1 hour.

Our fundraising manager is continually seeking out new sources of funding as the more funds we can raise the more Care Homes we can support.

Your donation will help us to provide these talented musicians at no cost to the residents or care home.
